You will be walking two miles over about two hours. The walk ends near the McPherson Square Metro station (Orange and Blue Lines).

To start an abbreviated tour at stop #7, you have two options:

Walk on 12th Street downhill (south), for one block to E Street and then turn right (west), for 1.5 blocks to Freedom Plaza in front of the National Theatre. — Or — Take Metro to Federal Triangle station. At the top of the only exit, bear right and then turn right and walk between the buildings. Cross Pennsylvania Avenue and step up to Freedom Plaza in front of the National Theatre.

You will be walking one mile over about 1-1/4 hours. The walk ends near the McPherson Square Metro station (Orange and Blue Lines).
